Nepal's ex-PM Deuba returns home after months of treatment
Last year, there were big protests in Nepal led by young people called the Gen Z movement.
During the protests, a man named Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife were badly hurt.
Mr. Deuba used to be the prime minister of Nepal, and he is 80 years old.
He and his wife went to Singapore in February to see doctors.
They stayed away from Nepal for more than five months.
Now Mr. Deuba has come back home to Kathmandu.
Many people from his political party welcomed him at the airport with music and cheers.
He said the mountains, green hills and plains of Nepal called him home, and he wants to serve his country.
His wife has not come back yet.

Former Nepal prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba returned to Nepal on Thursday after more than five months (one report says nearly five months) abroad for medical treatment.
Deuba, 80, and his wife, former foreign minister Arzu Rana Deuba, were seriously injured in the Gen Z protests on September 9, 2025, which led to the fall of the K P Sharma Oli government.
He arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in the afternoon via Hong Kong and was welcomed by senior Nepali Congress leaders including Purna Bahadur Khadka, Shashanka Koirala, Prakash Man Singh and Bimalendra Nidhi, along with hundreds of activists.
Deuba's family left Nepal for Singapore on February 25 for a medical check-up, but details of the treatment and its costs have not been made public, raising questions.
Arzu Rana Deuba's whereabouts remain unclear, and an arrest warrant against the couple under the Anti-Money Laundering Act was quashed by the Supreme Court.
