Eknath Shinde Unveils Maharashtra's Roadmap for Viksit Bharat 2047

India just celebrated its 80th Independence Day.

A big leader from Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, is the second-in-command of the state government.

He raised the Indian national flag in front of a large crowd in the city of Thane.

He talked about a huge dream called 'Viksit Bharat 2047' — making India a fully developed country by the year 2047.

He said Maharashtra will play a big part in this dream using its strong cities like Mumbai and Pune.

The government also promised to help farmers by wiping out their loans through a new scheme.

It plans to build good, affordable homes for everyone and improve roads, water, and other city facilities.

Thane will get the state's biggest hospital with 900 beds and thousands of smart cameras to keep people safe.

Children from village schools will even get to visit ISRO, India's space agency.

In short, the message was that everyone working together can build a stronger India.
