Naidu Calls for Swarnandhra, India Number One by 2047

India celebrates Independence Day every year to remember becoming a free country.

This year was the 80th time people celebrated that freedom.

A leader named N Chandrababu Naidu is the Chief Minister of a state called Andhra Pradesh.

He gave a special speech in the city of Amaravati.

In his speech, he asked everyone to work together so that India and Andhra Pradesh become the number one place by the year 2047.

He explained that his dream for the state, called Swarnandhra, matches the country's dream, called Viksit Bharat.

He shared good news that the state's economy is growing and businesses have promised to invest lots of money, which could create many new jobs.

He also said the government wants to build houses for everyone by 2029.

Naidu asked people to think about what they can do for the country, not just what the country can do for them.
