Allocated Staff Join Newly Constituted NTR Zilla Parishad Office
Three new Zilla Parishads are being organized after the former Krishna district was divided.
The NTR Zilla Parishad office is temporarily located in a guest house in Vijayawada.
Staff assigned to the NTR office reported for work on Monday.
The new Zilla Parishads are expected to start functioning from September 25.
The former district had 49 mandals.
Krishna Zilla Parishad received 25 mandals, NTR received 16, and Eluru received eight.
Staff posts were divided between the three Zilla Parishads.
NTR received 34 of the 104 posts distributed provisionally.
Staff allocated to the NTR Zilla Parishad headquarters reported for duty before DyCEO Kodali Anuradha.
The temporary NTR Zilla Parishad office is located in the ZP Guest House in Vijayawada.
The newly constituted Zilla Parishads are scheduled to begin functioning from September 25.
The former Krishna district's 49 mandals were divided among Krishna, NTR and Eluru Zilla Parishads.
Of 104 provisionally distributed posts, Krishna received 54, NTR 34 and Eluru 16.
