Andhra Pradesh to Distribute NTR Bharosa Pensions October 1
The Andhra Pradesh government plans to give monthly pensions on October 1.
The payments are for about 61.80 lakh people.
Workers will take the money to beneficiaries’ homes.
They are expected to begin at 6:30 in the morning.
The government has arranged ₹2,692.34 crore for the payments.
Most of the money has already been sent to local panchayat and ward accounts.
Bank employees postponed their planned strike, so banks can keep working.
Officials have been asked to prepare the money on September 30 so payments are not delayed.
Andhra Pradesh will distribute NTR Bharosa social security pensions to an estimated 61.80 lakh beneficiaries from 6:30 a.m. on October 1.
Pensions will be delivered at beneficiaries’ doorsteps by Swarna Gram and Swarna Ward staff.
The government has released ₹2,692.34 crore for October pension payments so far.
Of that amount, ₹2,692.28 crore was transferred to panchayat and ward bank accounts, while ₹6 lakh will be distributed through DBT to welfare pensioners in Gajapathinagaram mandal.
The distribution plan proceeded after bank employees deferred their strike, allowing banking operations to continue.
