Government directs states to hold tribal welfare outreach camps

The government of India wants to make sure tribal people can easily get the help and benefits they are supposed to receive.

To do this, a special government department called the Ministry of Tribal Affairs has asked every state to hold special public camps.

These camps are called 'Jan Sunwai,' which means a place where people can share their problems and learn about their rights.

The camps will happen between August 13 and August 15, just before Independence Day.

They will take place at special centres called Adi Sewa Kendras.

The goal is to bring the government's tribal welfare schemes right to people's doorsteps.

The camps are part of a big programme called the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi started this programme in September of last year.

The programme hopes to build a team of about two million local volunteers in around one lakh villages.

These volunteers can help tribal communities get the support they need.
