Court refuses to discharge Congress leader in casteist abuse case
A big court in Karnataka made a decision about a politician named Siraj Sheik.
He was accused of saying mean and hurtful words about someone's caste.
The person he hurt was his own party friend, Bhima Naik.
Sheik asked the court to drop the case, but the judge said no.
The judge said that hurting people with caste words in public is very serious.
He said that everyone in India has the right to be treated with dignity.
He also said that powerful people cannot give or take away dignity.
Dignity belongs to every citizen as a basic right.
That is why the court said Sheik must go through a trial.
