The Congress party held a peaceful protest called a Satyagraha in the town of Narayanpet.

They were upset about something that happened in another town called Haldwani in the state of Uttarakhand.

A big Congress leader named Mallikarjun Kharge had given a speech there.

After his speech, some people cleaned the place where he spoke using water from the Ganga river.

The Congress party said this was done to 'purify' the spot because of the leader's caste.

They believe this is unfair and shows caste discrimination.

Caste is a system in India that can treat people unfairly because of their family background.

The protest leader, K Prashanth Kumar Reddy, said no one should be humiliated because of their caste.

He asked for a full investigation and for strict legal action against those responsible.

He also asked another political party, the BJP, to speak out against what happened.
