Thane Connectivity Projects Advance as Creek Bridge Piling Exceeds 95%
Thane connectivity boost: Creek bridge, coastal road and elevated highway projects gather pace · financialexpress.com

Several big road projects are being built in and around Thane.

The Gaimukh–Payegaon Creek Bridge is 6.5 kilometres long.

Workers have finished more than 95% of its piling work, but the whole project is about 25% complete.

The bridge will connect Gaimukh with Chinchoti and Payegaon.

It should give cars and trucks a more direct way to reach Bhiwandi and Vasai.

Another project is a six-lane coastal road between Balkum and Gaimukh.

A separate elevated road will run between Anand Nagar and Saket.

Together, these projects are intended to provide more routes and reduce traffic on busy roads.
