MMRDA Showcases Mumbai Metro Projects To Belgian Prime Minister
Mumbai officials showed Belgium’s prime minister how the city is improving its transport and infrastructure.
Sanjay Mukherjee, the head of MMRDA, presented the projects during a meeting in BKC.
He explained the Metro corridors and other developments planned for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
He also gave the Belgian leader a book about MMRDA’s work.
The meeting took place at the Bharat Diamond Bourse.
Bart De Wever was visiting India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
India and Belgium discussed ways to work more closely together.
These areas include trade, technology, defence, renewable energy and transportation.
The meeting also created an opportunity for cooperation between institutions in the two countries.
