BMC Urged to Expedite Chaityabhoomi–Indu Mill Road Widening
Officials want to make a road in Mumbai wider.
The road connects Chaityabhoomi in Dadar with Indu Mill.

Deputy Speaker Anna Bansode directed the BMC to urgently prepare a road-widening estimate.
The project would widen the road from Ashokstambh to Chaityabhoomi’s main stupa.
Officials were asked to pursue land transfers with the Revenue Department and MMRDA.
The government plans to launch the work on December 6, Mahaparinirvan Diwas.
The expanded road is intended to improve access to the Indu Mill memorial.
