CAG, IIT Madras Launch Digital Systems Audit Certification
The Comptroller and Auditor General of India and IIT Madras have created a course about checking whether digital systems work safely and properly.
The course is called Certification on Audit of Digital Systems, or CADS.
It is available online through SWAYAM Plus.
The programme lasts four months at the foundation level.
Students learn about cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, privacy and public digital platforms.
Undergraduate students and graduates from across India can apply.
The foundation programme has six courses, each requiring 45 hours of learning.
Most learners pay Rs 2,000 per course, while eligible CAG public auditors and officers do not pay the course fee.
Even though the lessons are online, students take supervised tests in person.
