CISCE Launches Digital Assessment Initiative To Track Students' Learning Progress · NDTV

CISCE has started signing schools up for a programme called SHINE 2026.

SHINE is a digital system that checks how students are learning.

It is meant to help teachers understand what students do well and where they need help.

Students in Classes 4, 6 and 9 are expected to take part.

Their work will be compared with learning goals for earlier stages.

Class 4 students will complete a game-based assessment, while Classes 6 and 9 will use digital assessments.

The evaluations are planned for November 15 to November 30, 2026.

CISCE says the programme supports the National Education Policy 2020 and looks beyond only yearly exams.
