1,518 Young Artists Join BAMU District Youth Festival
A youth festival began at Government Dnyan-Vigyan Mahavidyalaya on Friday.
It is organised by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
The festival will last for two days.
There are 1,518 young participants this year.
Last year, 962 young people took part.
Minister Atul Save opened the event.
The festival gives students a chance to show their artistic talents.
University officials said art and humanities help people grow as human beings.
The two-day District Youth Festival of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University began on Friday.
A total of 1,518 young people are participating in this year’s festival.
Participation increased from 962 competitors last year, according to the organisers.
Minister Atul Save inaugurated the festival at Government Dnyan-Vigyan Mahavidyalaya.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Vijay Phulari said fine arts and humanities are important for shaping individuals as human beings.
