Fadnavis to Inaugurate Nashik’s Kumbh Bhakti Sangam Festival
Nashik is holding a three-day festival called Kumbh Bhakti Sangam.
The festival is connected with preparations for the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will open the festival on August 28.
Several singers and religious performers will present kirtan, bhajans, and devotional music.
Rahul Deshpande and Maithili Thakur are among the performers.
The final day will bring devotional traditions from different parts of India together.
Fadnavis will also open a new agriculture college building in Dindori taluka.
He will then dedicate the Nashik campus of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
The three-day Kumbh Bhakti Sangam festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on August 28 at Thakkar Dome in Nashik.
The opening day will feature a kirtan by Amrutamrut Swami Maharaj and an Abhangvani performance by Rahul Deshpande.
August 29 will include two daytime sessions, followed by a kirtan by Dr Charudatta Aphale and a bhajan performance by Maithili Thakur.
The August 30 programme will showcase devotional traditions from different parts of India.
Fadnavis will also inaugurate an agriculture college building and dedicate the Savitribai Phule Pune University Nashik Campus on August 28.
