Tukaram Mundhe: From UPSC AIR 20 To Maharashtra's 'Singham'
Tukaram Mundhe is a very important government officer in India.
He was born on June 3, 1975, in a small village called Tadsona in the Beed district of Maharashtra.
As a child, he went to a local government school.
Later, he went to Aurangabad for higher studies, where he learned History and Political Science at a university.

He earned a bachelor's degree in History and a master's degree in Political Science from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
Mundhe cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2004, securing All India Rank (AIR) 20, and became a 2005-batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre.
He trained at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, and in 2011 completed a certificate course in Crisis, Emergency and Disaster Management at the National University of Singapore.
Known as Maharashtra's 'Singham', Mundhe has reportedly been transferred 25 times during an administrative career spanning just over 21 years.
