Vande Mataram Programme Marks Independence Day in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
On August 15, India celebrates its Independence Day.
In the city of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the Maharashtra government has planned a special celebration.
It is a music and dance show called 'Vande Mataram'.
Singers and dancers will perform patriotic songs and dances that tell the story of India's freedom struggle.
The show will take place at a theatre called Tapadia Natya Mandir in Nirala Bazar.
It starts at 6.30 in the evening.
Entry is completely free, so families and students can come and watch.
The programme celebrates patriotism, unity in diversity, and the richness of Indian culture.

The Maharashtra Government's Directorate of Cultural Affairs has organized a special 'Vande Mataram' music and dance programme for Independence Day on August 15.
The free-entry event will be held at Tapadia Natya Mandir in Nirala Bazar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, at 6.30 pm.
The programme will showcase India's freedom struggle, patriotism, unity in diversity, and the richness of Indian culture through patriotic songs, music, and dance.
Singers Rahul Jethe, Mangesh Suradkar, Priya Pawar, and Amol Jethe will perform patriotic songs, while The Blaze Dance Group will present a patriotic dance.
The programme was conceptualised by Minister Ashish Shelar under the guidance of Secretary Dr Kiran Kulkarni, with Director Shriram Pande appealing for large attendance.
