Navi Mumbai human chain marks 150 years of Vande Mataram

Long ago, India was ruled by another country called Britain.

During that time, people sang a special song called 'Vande Mataram' to feel brave and united.

This song means 'I bow to you, Motherland.'

This year, the song turns 150 years old.

To celebrate, people in a city called Navi Mumbai are planning something very special.

On August 15, which is India's Independence Day, they will hold hands and form a long human chain.

They will also sing 'Vande Mataram' together.

The event will happen on a road called Palm Beach Road.

It will last from 10 o'clock in the morning until 11:30.

Everyone is invited to join and sing together to show love for their country.
