Prakasam Collector Links Village Cleanliness With Community Self-Respect

A government programme was held in R.L. Puram village to promote cleanliness.

Collector P. Rajababu said clean villages show self-respect and can become known for their identity.

He and MLA B.N. Vijay Kumar helped sanitation workers clear blocked drainage channels.

They also planted trees and visited a centre that handles waste.

The collector said mining and industrial areas need special attention to cleanliness.

He promised that the village would receive needed infrastructure.

Officials were told to build roads where necessary to reduce dust.

Four sanitation workers were honoured for their service.
