Modi Praise Boosts Patwai Youth Cleanliness Campaign

Akash Yadav and Rohan Dev saw a lot of garbage in their village, Patwai.

They started collecting it with garbage bags.

Other young people joined them, creating a group called Clean-up Patwai.

About 15 youths now take part in the work.

They clean villages, markets, parks, ponds, and religious places.

They have also cleaned four Ganga ghats and collected more than one ton of plastic.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about their work on his Mann Ki Baat program.

The youths felt very happy and want to encourage more people across India to keep places clean.
