The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation cleared blocked footpaths in Mumbai.

The operation covered the road between Milan Subway and V.M. Marg Junction.

Workers removed illegal stalls, ramps, building materials and rubbish.

They also used a JCB machine to remove some structures.

The goal is to give pedestrians more open and safer walking space.

This work is part of a larger ‘Pedestrian First’ campaign.

The campaign includes plans to improve footpaths near railway stations.

Some stalls near Bhandup and Kanjurmarg stations are planned to be relocated.
