CRPF personnel, school students take out Tiranga rally in Srinagar

Every year in India, people celebrate Independence Day, the day the country became free.

Before that big day, people do proud activities to get ready.

Policemen from a group called the CRPF took a walk with school children in a city called Srinagar.

This walk is called a Tiranga Rally, named after the Indian flag.

Everyone carried the flag and sang patriotic songs as they walked.

The walk started at Palladium Chowk and went through Lal Chowk and Regal Chowk.

It ended at a tall clock tower called Ghanta Ghar.

A CRPF officer named Prahlad Singh said the walk helps young people feel proud of their country.

He said kids should remember that many brave people made sacrifices to win freedom.

The rally is a way to show love and respect for the country.
