Massive 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Rally Ignites Patriotism in Anantapur
In the city of Anantapur in India, the district administration organized a big parade called the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' rally.
'Har Ghar Tiranga' means the Indian flag in every home.
District Revenue Officer Malola was the chief guest and started the event by unfurling the national flag.
The procession began from Arts College.
People carried a very long Indian flag that was 80 feet long.
Students, teachers, government employees, nurses, young people and many other residents walked together carrying the flag.
They shouted happy patriotic slogans like 'Mera Bharat Mahan', 'Vande Mataram' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.
The officer also planted saplings at the college grounds and asked everyone to hoist the Tiranga on their homes and buildings.
The rally was held to build patriotism ahead of India's 80th Independence Day, a special birthday for the country.
