Indian Diaspora Celebrates 80th Independence Day in Kenya, Bahrain, France

India recently celebrated being an independent country for 80 years.

Indian people living in other countries joined the birthday celebrations.

In Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, more than 1,200 people gathered at India House.

Everyone sang a special song called Vande Mataram, which is 150 years old.

There was also an exhibition telling the story of the song and how it helped India win freedom.

In Bahrain, more than 1,000 community members celebrated at the Indian Embassy.

A movement called 'Har Ghar Tiranga' is asking every home to fly the Indian flag.

In France, the flag is travelling around the world in a relay called Surya Path Tiranga.

People danced and sang, and winners of a quiz about India got prizes.
