Madhya Pradesh to Give Scooters to 7,500 Meritorious Students

Madhya Pradesh plans to give scooters to more than 7,500 students.

The students must have scored at least 70% in Class 12.

The programme will take place on September 16.

It was first planned for September 11 but was postponed.

The government has set aside about ₹200 crore for the scheme.

Each eligible student will get between ₹1 lakh and ₹1.25 lakh.

This money can be used to buy an electric or petrol scooter.

In earlier years, students usually chose petrol scooters.

This year, more students are choosing electric scooters.
