Madhya Pradesh plans to give e-scooters to more than 7,500 high-performing students.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will distribute them on September 16.

The main ceremony will take place in Bhopal.

The students must have come first in Class 12 at their school.

They must also have scored at least 70 percent on their first try.

Students from all academic streams can qualify.

They must attend regular classes at government higher secondary schools.

The scooters are meant to help students travel to college and continue their education.

Officials say more than 23,000 students have already received benefits from the scheme.
