Andhra Pradesh’s Education Minister Nara Lokesh will put a big stone in a new project that will make clean energy.

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd is building a wind farm and a solar farm that together can make 800 megawatts of electricity.

The wind farm will be in Kanekal and the solar farm in Pattikonda.

The wind farm will cost about ₹3,500 crore and the solar farm about ₹2,250 crore.

While the plants are built, about 4,000 people will get jobs.

The electricity will help big factories and homes use clean power.

The projects will also give farmers a steady income.

They are part of Andhra Pradesh’s plan to have 160 gigawatts of clean energy by 2024.
