Over 70,000 Devotees Throng Indrakeeladri Temple Amid Ashada Festivities
Many people went to a temple called Indrakeeladri temple on Saturday.

The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kanaka Durga.
More than 70,000 people came to pray and see the goddess.
It was very crowded because it was a special holiday and a festival time.
People started coming very early in the morning, around 6 am.
The temple made special arrangements so people could see the goddess faster.
Some special services were stopped for a few hours so more people could get in.
The temple gave water to people waiting in line.
Older people, small babies and people with disabilities got to use a special faster line.
Over 70,000 devotees had darshan of Goddess Kanaka Durga at Indrakeeladri temple on Saturday, when the second Saturday holiday coincided with the ongoing Ashada festivities.
Devotees began arriving as early as 6 am via the Ghat Road and Sri Kanaka Durga Nagar routes, prompting special arrangements by temple authorities and One Town police.
Temple authorities suspended Antaralaya darshan from 9 am and cancelled all paid darshan tickets until 3 pm, converting all queue lines into free darshan queues.
VIP darshan was suspended from 8 am to 3 pm, and mobile water tanks were deployed to supply drinking water to devotees waiting in queue lines.
Mothers with infants, elderly persons and persons with disabilities were allowed darshan through a special queue line, and temple EO VK Sheena Naik helped reunite an elderly woman via a public announcement.
