Devotees Flock to Vijayawada Temple for Varalakshmi Vratam

Varalakshmi Vratam is a special religious observance during the month of Sravana.

Many devotees visited the Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada.

The temple is located on the Indrakeeladri hills.

In the temple, Goddess Durga was worshipped as Goddess Varalakshmi.

People came to pray and ask for blessings.

So many people arrived that temple officials stopped Antaralaya Darshan.

Devotees also gathered at other temples across the state.

Many of them reached the temples before sunrise for special prayers.
