SDRF Rescues Pregnant Woman In Labour From Waterlogged MP Village
A woman in a village was about to have a baby, but she needed to go to a hospital.
It was raining very heavily, and water filled the village.
An ambulance came to help, but it could not reach her because a drain had overflowed.
Then special rescue workers called the SDRF arrived.
They used a boat to carry the woman out safely.
People from the village helped by pulling a rope tied to the boat.
After that, the ambulance staff rushed her to the hospital.
She was admitted safely, thanks to everyone's quick help.
The rain was so heavy that almost four inches of water fell in one day.

A 108 ambulance could not enter the village because a drain had swollen due to heavy rain.
SDRF personnel and locals pulled a rope attached to the boat to guide it through the flowing water.
Ambulance staff member Subhash Sen and driver Kamal Singh Malviya took the woman to the District Hospital in Sehore, where she was admitted safely.
Sehore district received an average of 3.96 inches of rain in the past 24 hours, with Shyampur tehsil recording the most at 8.27 inches.
