Free Varalakshmi Vratham Held at Kadiri Temple
A special prayer ceremony called Varalakshmi Vratham was held at a temple in Kadiri.
It took place on Friday and began at 10 a.m.
The Goddess’s processional idol was brought to a special platform inside the temple.
The temple gave participants the items needed for the prayer.
These included turmeric, flowers, coconuts, lamps and bangles.
More than 400 women and other devotees joined the ceremony.
Chief priest A.D. Parthasaradhi Charyulu guided the prayers.
Afterward, the devotees saw the temple’s main deities and received prasadam.
A free mass Varalakshmi Vratham was conducted at Sri Khadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Kadiri on Friday.
The ritual began at 10 a.m. after the Goddess’s processional deity was brought to the temple’s Kalyana Vedika.
The temple administration supplied turmeric, vermilion, coconuts, lamps, oil, flowers and other materials.
More than 400 women and devotees participated under the guidance of chief priest A.D. Parthasaradhi Charyulu.
After the ritual, devotees received darshan of the presiding deities and prasadam.
