Young Indians Attend Independence Day Musical Evening at Bharat Mandapam
On the day Indians celebrate their country becoming independent, lots of young people got together for a special evening.
More than 4,000 young Indians, many of them teenagers and young adults, came to a big building called Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
They watched traditional dances, patriotic songs, and a fun show by a famous singer named Mika Singh.
The special evening was about a very important promise: staying away from drugs and intoxicants.
Its theme was called 'Nasha Mukt Yuva Bharat,' which means a drug-free young India.
The event was hosted by a Member of Parliament named Vikramjit Singh Sahney.
Some big leaders called Union Ministers also joined the celebration.
The young people also honored the families of brave soldiers who gave their lives for India.
At the end, everyone took a pledge to stay away from intoxicants and help build a stronger, healthier India.
