The damage happened because of heavy rain, floods, cyclones and hailstorms.

A total of 17,245 farmers will share ₹23.33 crore.

The aid covers more than 11,207 hectares of damaged crops.

The largest share will go to farmers in Amravati division.

The money will be sent directly to farmers’ bank accounts.

Banks must not use the money to repay old loans.

Officials must also make sure nobody receives the payment twice and must publish the beneficiary lists online.
