Palasa Farmers Visit Bhogapuram Airport to Study Development Benefits
Some farmers and other people who live near a place called Palasa took a trip to see a brand-new airport.
The airport is called the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport and it is in Bhogapuram.
They wanted to see what good things the airport can bring to their area.
A big company called GMR runs the airport and showed the visitors all the new buildings.

A hundred and fifty-two visitors came from many small villages for the trip.

A total of 152 farmers and residents from villages in Mandasa and Vajrapukotturu mandals visited the newly-inaugurated Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram on Wednesday.
The visit was organized to help local farmers understand the transformation around the airport and the employment and economic opportunities it could create.
GMR representatives explained the scale of infrastructure development and economic activity that had taken place before and after the airport was established.
Farmers who had earlier given up their land for the airport project shared their experiences and cleared doubts raised by the Palasa farmers.
MLA Gouthu Sireesha said the airport's completion was made possible through Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu's initiative, while District Collector Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar said jobs would be available even for those with Intermediate-level education.
