Mumbai's NSCI In Legal Trouble? BMC Moves To Cancel Worli Club's Lease Over Spike In Non-Sporting Events Held At Premises · freepressjournal.in

The BMC in Mumbai wants to cancel the lease of the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in Worli.

They say NSCI has been hosting too many non-sporting events without permission.

The BMC sent a notice to NSCI, saying that out of 207 events from 2020 to 2025, 194 were non-sporting.

This year, out of 68 events, 66 were non-sporting.

NSCI members are worried and want to know what the management is doing about this.

The management has to respond to the notice and explain how they will fix the problem.
