Mumbai Announces Traffic Curbs for ISKCON Juhu Celebrations
The ISKCON temple in Juhu will celebrate Gokulashtami on September 3 and 4.
Many devotees are expected to visit the temple.
Because of this, the Mumbai Traffic Police will change how vehicles move nearby.
Some roads will have no parking.
Some roads will be closed in particular directions.
One road section will operate as a one-way route.
Emergency, VVIP, temple and local-resident vehicles will be allowed on one restricted stretch.
Drivers are asked to follow police instructions and use other routes.
The arrangements are intended to keep people safe and traffic moving.
Traffic restrictions and diversions will operate around ISKCON Juhu during Gokulashtami celebrations.
The first restriction period runs from 3:30 p.m. on September 3 to 2 a.m. on September 4.
The second period runs from 4 p.m. on September 4 to 2 a.m. on September 5.
No-parking rules will apply on 10 roads around the temple area.
Several road closures and a one-way arrangement will affect traffic near Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg.
