Firefighters, disaster-response workers, divers and other teams searched the drain and nearby areas.

The search was difficult because the drain had moving water, mud, garbage and underground sections.

The operation reportedly stopped late Saturday night and restarted Sunday.

Mithun still had not been found, and his family was asking authorities to do more.
