Delhi 18-year-old swept away in flooded drain amid heavy rain
Very heavy rain has been falling in Delhi and nearby cities.
An 18-year-old young man named Ankit was walking home from a nearby city called Noida.
The roads were covered with water, and a big drain was overflowing with fast-moving water.
Ankit slipped on the wet road and lost his balance.
He fell into the drain, and the strong water carried him away.
People nearby tried to help him, but the water was too strong.

Local residents tried to rescue the youth, but the force of the water was too strong and their attempts failed.
Delhi Police, the DDMA East Rescue Team, and the Delhi Fire Service searched through the night, but Ankit remained untraced as of Saturday and the search was still underway.
