A strong current in the water swept him away while he was crossing the drain.

This happened in an area of Delhi called Madanpur Khadar on a Friday evening.

Many helpers, including the police, the Delhi Fire Service, and a disaster team called DDMA, searched for him.

They found his body near the Agra Canal the next evening.

Ankit was the older son in his family.

His father, Sunil Kumar, works in the pantry of a private company.

The family rented a house in Bhim Colony in Ali Village for Rs 5,000 a month.

His father is very sad and wants to know who is responsible for his son's death.
