Bigg Boss 10 star Lopamudra Raut's home burgled, suspect arrested
A person broke into the home of Lopamudra Raut, an actress who was on a TV show called Bigg Boss 10.
The break-in happened while she was away from the city for a few weeks.
When she came back, she saw that her home had been broken into and told the police.
Police officers looked at videos from cameras near her home to find out who did it.
They arrested a 26-year-old man from Bihar.
They also found cash and gold worth 76 lakh rupees that had been taken.
The man told police he wanted to use the money to buy land for his sister.
He is now in police custody while the investigation continues.
Police are working to get back the rest of the stolen items.
Lopamudra Raut's Santacruz apartment was burgled while she was away from June 20 to July 27.
Santacruz Police and the local Crime Branch arrested Chandan Kamlesh Mukhiya, a 26-year-old Bihar native.
Police recovered stolen valuables totalling Rs 76 lakh, including cash, gold jewellery, and gold biscuits.
Investigators used CCTV footage from nearby locations to identify and track the suspect to Bihar.
Mukhiya reportedly admitted to targeting the locked flat and is in police custody as investigations continue.
