Two Arrested for Posing as Minister Aadhav Arjuna, Seeking Rs 8 Cr From MLA · deccanchronicle.com

Two people in India pretended to be a very important government minister named Aadhav Arjuna.

They wanted to trick a local lawmaker who works for the government.

The tricksters told the lawmaker that he could get a big new job if he paid them a huge amount of money — eight crore rupees.

To make their lie look real, they made a fake email account using the minister's name.

They also sent a picture of a fake message to a friend of the lawmaker.

The lawmaker got suspicious and talked to them over a video call.

When he saw them, he realized they were not the real minister at all.

The police were told what happened, and the two people were arrested.

Pretending to be someone else to take money is a crime, so now they are in trouble.
