Tansa Lake Overflow Boosts Mumbai Water Supply

Mumbai gets its water from seven big lakes.

One of them, called Tansa Lake, started overflowing on July 24 because of heavy rains.

This is good news because earlier, there wasn't enough water, and the city had to use 10% less.

Now, there's enough water for 219 days.

But the people in charge want to wait until all lakes are full before they stop the water cut.

They're also worried because the rain this year might be less than usual.
