Indian Auto Market Sees MG, Yamaha and Electric Scooter Launches

Several vehicle companies introduced new products in India this week.

MG Motor launched an electric and a plug-in hybrid version of the Hector Tomahawk SUV.

The electric version can travel a claimed 517km on one charge.

The hybrid version uses both petrol and electricity and claims more than 1,100km of total range.

Yamaha launched a new performance motorcycle called the YZF-R2.

Honda introduced the ADV160, which can use a special E85 fuel blend.

Ather and Ola launched new electric scooters with different prices, battery options and claimed ranges.

Bajaj also updated its long-running Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 motorcycles.
