MG has introduced a new electric SUV called the Hector Tomahawk in India.

It has seven seats, so larger families can sit in three rows.

This is MG’s first seven-seat electric vehicle.

The car uses a 69.2kWh battery and one electric motor.

The motor makes about 201-204 horsepower.

MG says it may travel up to 550km under a testing system called CLTC.

Real-world driving range may be lower in Indian traffic and weather.

The SUV is expected to cost between Rs 23 lakh and Rs 26 lakh before showroom-related charges.

It will compete with electric SUVs such as the Mahindra XEV 9S and Tata Harrier EV.
