JSW MG Motor India has launched a new electric SUV called the Hector Tomahawk EV.
It can travel up to a claimed 517km on a full charge.
The SUV is available with either five seats or seven seats.
Its regular starting price is Rs 19.49 lakh before other costs.
A battery-rental plan called BaaS lowers the upfront price to Rs 13.99 lakh, but owners pay Rs 4.90 per kilometre for the battery.
The SUV has a large 69.2kWh battery and a motor that makes 204hp.
It can charge from 30 to 80 percent in about 35 minutes with a suitable fast charger.
Bookings are open now, while deliveries are expected to start in September 2026.
It also includes features such as a large touchscreen, driver-assistance systems and vehicle-to-load charging.
