Heavy monsoon rains have caused serious problems in Himachal Pradesh.

A total of 250 people died during the 61-day period.

Of these, 103 deaths were linked directly to weather-related incidents, while 147 happened in road accidents.

Landslides, drowning, falls, snake bites and electrocution were among the reported causes.

Many roads are still blocked, making travel difficult.

Power and water services have also been disrupted in several areas.

Homes, animal shelters and other buildings were damaged.

The state has reported losses of more than Rs 1,184 crore, and emergency teams are working on repairs.
