Hyderabad Hospital Official Faces Disproportionate Assets Corruption Case

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau opened a case against Nori Lakshmi Bhasker, a hospital official.

The agency searched eight places in Hyderabad.

Investigators said they found many properties and valuable items.

These included eight flats, several plots, gold, cars and money in accounts.

The officially calculated value of the assets was about Rs 6.13 crore.

Officials said the real market value might be more than Rs 100 crore.

The agency suspects the assets are much greater than Bhasker’s known income.

The investigation is still continuing, and the case does not by itself prove guilt.
