Hardoi villagers booked for protesting fly menace from egg factory
In a village in India, people were bothered by lots of flies.
They believe the flies come from a big egg factory nearby.
The flies made it hard for them to live their normal daily lives.
So the villagers sat together at a road crossing to protest.
They did this for almost 12 days.
The police then filed official complaints, called FIRs, against some of the protesters.
The police said some protesters were yelling and being rude to them.
The factory owner said some people were asking him for money and threatening him.
The villagers say they just want the fly problem fixed for good.
