Uttar Pradesh has created a new organization for people who work through outsourcing agencies.

It will help workers report problems and check their job and payment details online.

Their salaries are supposed to go directly into their bank accounts between the first and fifth day of each month.

The government says agencies cannot take money from their salaries or remove them without informing the government.

Workers will receive accident insurance and health coverage for themselves and their families.

Extra financial help may be available for emergencies, education and daughters’ marriages.

The government also says workers will receive benefits such as provident-fund payments, maternity leave and gratuity.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the program is meant to give outsourced workers more security and dignity.
