Public participation key to district development, says Minister Subhash
India was celebrating its 80th birthday as an independent country, and people in a district called Konaseema had a big celebration.
The party took place at a stadium in the town of Amalapuram.
A government minister named Mr. Subhash came to speak to the people.
He told everyone that the district will grow better if everybody helps out.
The government is giving families free cooking gas and helping mothers and farmers.
It is also creating jobs and making it easier for women to start businesses.
People in Konaseema are growing seaweed near the sea and cocoa near coconut trees to earn more money.
The minister asked everyone to take care of nature and work hard for the next 21 years.
There were parades, dances, and prizes for people who served the community.
Celebrations like this remind us that working together makes our home a better place.
Labour, Factories, Boilers and Medical Insurance Services Minister Vasamsetti Subhash urged the people of Konaseema to actively participate in development initiatives at the 80th Independence Day celebrations in Amalapuram.
Subhash said the government is committed to welfare, development and good governance, drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
He highlighted Super-6 initiatives including three free LPG cylinders annually under Deepam-2, Thalliki Vandanam, Anna Canteens and Annadata Sukhibhava-PM Kisan.
Mega DSC recruitment targets employment opportunities, Stree Shakti strengthens women's economic empowerment, and WhatsApp Governance delivers services at doorsteps, he said.
Konaseema's potential includes a pilot seaweed cultivation project launched at Karavaka in Mamidikuduru mandal and cocoa expansion in nearly 1,000 acres of coconut plantations.
